Aubree – Hospitality Team Advocate

Born and raised in Boise, Idaho, Aubree has loved animals for as long as she can remember. At just six years old, she began volunteering with the Idaho Humane Society, starting by walking dogs and gradually taking on more responsibilities as she grew. That early experience caring for animals sparked a lifelong passion that eventually led her to a career in veterinary medicine.

Aubree joined Habitat in a reception role, where her warmth, organization, and natural ability to connect with both clients and teammates quickly stood out. As she embraced new opportunities and responsibilities, she naturally grew into a leadership role, becoming someone her team can rely on for clear communication and a willingness to jump in wherever help is needed. She goes out of her way to advocate for her team, making sure they feel supported and valued. Her steady leadership and positive attitude have made her an important part of Habitat’s collaborative culture.

At Habitat, Aubree has found the perfect combination of everything she loves: building meaningful relationships with people while caring for the pets who mean so much to them. She enjoys getting to know each family, hearing their stories, and creating genuine connections that help pet owners feel welcome and cared for. Whether she’s greeting a nervous puppy, celebrating a healthy checkup, or offering comfort during a difficult visit, Aubree believes that kindness can make all the difference.

One of her favorite parts of every day is spending time with the patients themselves. She jokes that every pet who walks through the door is her new favorite, and after meeting enough dogs, she’s built quite a long list of breeds she’d love to invite into her own family someday.

Outside of Habitat, Aubree enjoys Pilates, gardening, reading, and spending time with her husband and two children. She also continues her lifelong commitment to animal welfare by fostering kittens with panleukopenia through the Idaho Humane Society, helping nurse some of the most vulnerable patients back to health until they’re ready for their forever homes.
